As has been pointed out elsewhere, subsequence ne substring. Algorithm::Diff doesn't deal with substrings only subsequences.

My intention was not at all to accuse you of ignorance. I guess my intention would have been better served by sending you a /msg. It seemed redundant to me to post something to the thread that didn't add anything new and yet I thought it would have value to you. I guess I just wanted to be honest about not adding anything new.
