Parrot? What is this parrot?

Doing my standard morning browse of the news and came onto this article on perl.com.

To say the least, I am stunned. Does this supercede the perl 6 effort? Does anybody know more about what this effort is? Was this expected by Those Who Know More? Where can I get the interpretor?

To say I'm stunned is an understatement. It's going to take awhile to consider this... Does this supersede Perl 6? Sounds like from Larry's comment it does... I'd love to hear more from Those Who Know More too. Sorry if I'm just echoing your questions... but it's a shocking Monday morning and you asked all the right ones. coreolyn	[reply]
