I was born in 1975. From 1995 to 2001 I have studied biology (degree is Diplom, which is similar to a Master). From 2001 to 2007 I did my PhD in Molecular Biology / Genomics. Since 2007 I have been working in the field of bioinformatics / DNA sequencing and analysis at QIAGEN GmbH in Hilden, Germany.
