I'll take a stab at this completely unhelpful question (which explains its highly negative rep): you merely hit "preview" instead of "submit"? It doesn't get entered into the database until you hit "submit".

Or, go to your home node and see if it was in fact posted but just doesn't show up in the section you posted to (nodes must be approved for a section before they will appear in that section, but every posted node is available via the poster's home node and under Newest Nodes).
