Crypt CBC

perlsameer has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am using Crypt CBC with blowfish tech, and des.
And both tech, working fine with this Module.
But the output of both the scheme is about 50 to 60 characters
and my requirement is around 7 to 14 character as i want to store this in text file.
for future reference.

Please read the PerlMonks FAQ, and How do I post a question effectively?, since you have posted this node in the wrong part of the forum, oddly enough, today you have managed to successfully post a duplicate of another Crytp::CBC question in the correct part of the forum. What exactly are you trying to achieve? Do you fully understand what CBC is? Martin	[reply]
