I could see some arguing that vanilla/strawberry are not binary distributions of perl (being binary distributions of a C compiler environment bundled with Perl source code), but I agree that it only makes sense to mention and link to them from that page, even if a disclaimer is required to quell pedant objections.

    I personally believe that adamk should have the last word on it and at indeed Strawberry's own description at CPAN says:

    Strawberry Perl is a binary distribution of Perl for the Windows operating system. It includes a bundled compiler and pre-installed modules that offer the ability to install XS CPAN modules directly from CPAN.
