Debugger lock up

daveatmcafee has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Has anyone experienced the debugger locking up, or becoming unresponsive, after performing CVS operations? I set a breakpoint to the line after CVS runs and the debugger stops at the breakpoint but accepts no input. I have to terminate Perl using the Task Manager. Thanks,
