In my early 40's. Been in the IT field since I graduated college with a Comp Sci degree. I have a programming background and developed code using C++ for a few years then started using ClearCase and ClearQuest back in the early 90's. Been doing CC administration for the past 17 years, with a fair amount of exposure to Perl. Contracted for the last 10 years with a variety of firms, when I accepted my current position as a Senior Software Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, specializing in (what else) Rational software deployment and support. What I do for fun - boating, jet skiing, cycling, snow skiing, hiking, and I'm a movie fanatic (when the weather isn't conducive to outdoor activities).
