how to send a pdf attachem file with Mime-Lite email

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Dear helpers I had written a perl program using Mime-Lite utility to send an email with a PDF attachment file, however the attachment file was corrupted when received, looks like it needs a special decoding facility. Could any one please help me? Thanks.

MIME::Lite should be able to do this correctly. Did you specify the right mime-type (IIRC, it should be "application/pdf")? Show us some code so we can see what's up. "What should it profit a man, if he should win a flame war, yet lose his cool?"	[reply]

Do you use the correct mime-type? application/pdf seems to work very well here...	[reply]
