Perhaps you are not understanding what I am saying, obviously your intention is not to DOS them, as you have found out any attempt to do so results in your script failing thanks to protective measures they have in place.
Since you failed to do any work finding out how best to interact with other peoples systems you have effectively created a script which does DOS them. There are people out there who write scripts with this as their goal, you have written a script that does this as a result of you not thinking about what you are doing. I am suggesting that you alter your scripts to work in harmony with their system. Why not do a little research on this?
At no point have I claimed that it is your intention to attack anyone's systems.
Nobody is here to "make fun" of you, and from the replies I have read to your posts, so far nobody has.

As I tell my kids,
It doesn't matter if you meant to spill the juice or not. It was spilled and needs to be cleaned up. Now, what can be done differently to keep it from happening again.
Weather or not you meant to do activity that can cause a DOS doesn't matter. The fact remains, the remote site saw it as such and responded. Perhaps there is a better way to do the number of queries that you need to do for this task? Maybe an algorithm or protocol that is not as resource intensive on the remote server?
Update: Forgot emphasized part of quote. Brain moving faster than fingers.
