Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am having problems installing Perl Magick. Every time I run nmake (I am on a Microsoft platform) I receive an error about not finding the executable cl.exe? I realize that cl.exe is the C++ compiler, but the docs say nothing about needing C++ installed? I am following the docs and have tried it on 3 different machines with the same results? I am using the latest release of Active State Perl as well as the latest releases of Image Magick and Perl Magick? All other installs have worked fine? Anyone have any ideas?

Image-Magick is in the PPM listings.
