He seems to program a client (executed on the client machine), so time() should get the date and time of the client not the server.

D'oh! I've been writing too much CGI code that runs on servers - in my head I've confounded "server" and "machine". More meaningful thoughts can now be posted... -- .sig : File not found.	[reply]
