Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I asked this earlier don't know what happened so ill repost I want to make a program that randomly selects a picture and sets it to the desktop wallpaper for win2000. I have the program made and it works good except I have to manually click refresh for the new wallpaper to take effect. The program basicly renames the new picture to the name of the current one overiding it. I know there is a better way to do it but I don't know how..... Any suggestions?

It was moved to Seekers of Perl Wisdom because it isn't FAQ material. This question will be deleted tomorrow or when you reply to this node to let me know that you've seen this.

In future, if you log in to the site before you post a question then you are more likely to be able to find an answer.

P.S. It has also been answered so I suggest you go looking for it.
