I'm not really sure what you are trying to do, but it sounds like you need to compare floating-point numbers. Instead of a regex, look at My floating point comparison does not work. Why ?.

As far as posting code here, do not try to embed any fancy HTML markup within your "code" segments. The [COLOR="Red"] thing does not do what you expect. It appears literally as code, which of course does not compile.
