in reply to Win32::File::Ver GetFileVersion

What OS and what is the value of $filename when it crashes?

    Os - Windows 2003 $fileName - c:\run.dll
    Thx.

      I just ran the latest version from cpan against 2500 files, 1800 of which are executables, and it either report the data or returned undef.

      There must be something strange about that file. Did you compile Win32::File::Ver yourself or get it as a PPM?
