I personally believed that the following shortcut:
should be equivalent to[id://608888#local|well known bug]
[href://?node_id=608888#local|well known bug]
since e.g.
is equivalent to[wp://Perl#future|the future of Perl]
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perl#Future|the future of Perl]
The former four shortcuts render respectively like:
[id://608888#local|well known bug], well known bug, the future of Perl, the future of Perl.
Thus only the first one "doesn't work." (In quotes because I'm not sure and I'm not claiming that it should behave the way I expected...) In case this gets "fixed" what I'm currently seeing with my settings (e.g. I'm logged in at http://perlmonks.org/) is:
[id://608888#local|well known bug], well known bug, the future of Perl, the future of Perl.
