Want to help with some CPAN modules?

My criteria for good software:
  1. Does it work?
  2. Can someone else come in, make a change, and be reasonably certain no bugs were introduced?

    Do you have specific modules in mind? If so, and you think I can help with my amount of experience*, and I can get interested enough in any of them, I put my hand up.

    * (Lack of) Qualifications:

    • 1 year using Perl 5
    • 9 months here
    • Can hack C (but little internals experience)

    Update: be honest, if I'm not ready to help with CPAN modules, I want to know what I'll need to do to get to that point

    Indicators of geekdom:
    • You get a kick out of finishing sentences with domain names, because of the syntactic overlap of certain written languages and DNS notation.
    • You understood the previous sentence.
      Take a look at http://search.cpan.org/~rkinyon/ and see what you like. Helping can be anything from hacking on source to adding tests to fixing documentation to project management. As for experience, I took over my first CPAN module after just a couple years of Perl.
