I don't know if there is such a viewer out there, but if you can produce gif images it shouldn't be difficult to program a minimal perl/Tk program that opens a window with a single image on it and update that with a timer event. The examples in http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~pvhp/ptk/ptkFAQ.html#A18.3 and http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~pvhp/ptk/ptkFAQ.html#A18.4 might help.
