cypress has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Only a novice would struggle reading through the "Mastering Perl/Tk" example on IPC forking for web downloads ("TkComics"), but I'm just a novice. Now that I *think* I understand what's going on, I need Win32::MemMap and Tie::Win32MemMap, but can't seem to find them at CPAN. Where are they available? Thanks, Cypress Found the modules! They can be downloaded from www.lehigh.edu/~sol0/ptk/

    Cypress,

According to this Tie::Win32MemMap is available via 'the Perl Journal', which no longer exists other than some form or archive. Perhaps Win32::MemMap is of use to you, but I have no idea if this works or not.

Perhaps more time with your friendly neighborhood search engine may yield better results.

    Cheers
