Win32-MemMap & Tie-Win32MemMap

cypress has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Only a novice would struggle reading through the "Mastering Perl/Tk" example on IPC forking for web downloads ("TkComics"), but I'm just a novice. Now that I *think* I understand what's going on, I need Win32::MemMap and Tie::Win32MemMap, but can't seem to find them at CPAN. Where are they available? Thanks, Cypress Found the modules! Where did you get those names from? What you looking for is called Win32::MMF. (It includes a tie interface called Win32::MMF::Shareable). Cypress, According to this Tie::Win32MemMap is available via 'the Perl Journal', which no longer exists other than some form or archive. Perhaps Win32::MemMap is of use to you, but I have no idea if this works or not. Perhaps more time with your friendly neighborhood search engine may yield better results. Cheers Martin	[reply]
