LWP and default https

pobox211 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I'm using Activestate perl 5.10 on XP with LWP. Silly me, I jumped right in and started connecting with an 'https:' url without any problems or those pesky '500' errors. Am I to assume that by DEFAULT my LPW package has the security installed? Thanks.

pobox211 LWP requires Crypt::SSLeay to support https URLs. README.SSL has further information Hope this helps Martin	[reply]

Thank you. In checking my installation it seems ,through no fault of my own, that Crypt::SSLeay is already present. Glad someone has more sense than I do.	[reply]
