Re^4: tkx repeat

Tkx::after only does the subroutine once. If I use a infinite loop like while(1): the windows become unresponsive. I could just use Tk, but i'd really like to use Tkx because of its themed widgets.

tk has the repeat method, but tkx doesn't. All i really want to do is update a treeview widget every 5 seconds, but i cant find a way to do it with tkx. I've heard of Tkx::update, but i don't know exactly how it works or whether it would help me.	[reply]

LOL! You can see at http://search.cpan.org/src/SREZIC/Tk-804.028/Tk/After.pm that repeat is implemented using Tk::after(). Repeat is implemented using Tk::after, so use Tkx::after to implement repeat. Can you try writing repeat using Tkx::after now?	[reply]
