in thread spoiler tag "abuse"

Except that "hidden" does not mean the same thing as clicking on a link. There are three options for the spoiler tag that all hide the text but only one requires clicking on a link. And the fourth option just shows the text. You are not using the tag as intended. And that's ignoring the obvious -- the name of the tag. Are you really going to claim you do not understand what the word "spoiler" means and the connotations associated with it?!? As I said before, pure hubris on your part.

Okay. Now you've got my goat with your constant repetition of that term.

YOU are the only person that has complained. About some minor inconvenince to you in conjunction with some obscure feature, that gets used by you (and maybe one or two other peeople?), for a situation (joke punchlines or challenge answers) that comes up maybe once or twice a year.

I'm using the feature, as suggested in the documentation, for the convenience of all the thousands of other people who use this site. I've been polite. I opened the discussion for the concensus. And still you jump up and down.

Is "hubris" the word you want? Every other time I've encountered it in the world of Perl, it's been a virtue.
It's all part of my grand scheme to convince an esteemed Monk to declare I am virtuous by using the same term I used on him against me!! But he hasn't fallen for it yet!! SIGH!! =;-)

Update: What, no sense of humor?

Update2: As for the choice of "hubris", that comes from playing too much Titan Quest. In the Imortal Throne expansion pack the final battle is with the god Hades. And as you charge into the room to attack him he says "You shall pay for your hubris!". Of course, if you do things right he pays for his hubris! ;-)
