in reply to Is anybody interested in collaborating on an article?

You may want to elaborate on what "SSIS" is, for the benefit of those who don't already know.

I'd say someone who doesn't know that by heart would not be in the position to write an article about it anyway ;).

For the sake of completeness, I'm pretty sure the OP means SQL Server Integration Services.

That's what Google suggested as the most likely possibility, but I would not be so sure about that. In either case the OP should have said so. It's not a sufficiently well known abbreviation to be used without explanation and out of context.

        Hello, Jenda,

Holli is right. In my earlier post I made reference to SSIS. Similar question did come up. I did not repeat it because I felt our friends here will simply look up the earlier thread.

Anyways, you had a good question. Thank you for participating in the thread. I am confirming that Holli's finding was correct.

        Best Regards,

SSIS stands for SQL Server Integration Services. It's used for ETL process. This process itself is very relevant in datawarehousing discipline.

Holli lists a url, which you may find helpful.

Let me know if additional details are needed or not.
