YAS sponsors a new Perl help channel on IRC

The folks at YAS have asked me to announce a new Perl help channel on IRC they will be supporting. The channel is #perl-help on irc.rhizomatic.net.

If you feel like devoting a terminal, or chat client window to Perl help this might be a good opportunity for you to do so.

Well.. I co-own an irc server as well, there isn't much users on it yet, but I would love to be hosting a #perl help channel if people would go to it. FYI, we started this channel to facilitate a 'useful' and 'friendly' IRC environment for Perl help. In light of some recent talks here about EFNet #perl, I hope some of you will come join us with your questions and answers. Cheers, KM	[reply]

There is also #perl channel in Undernet network, but ppls are banned in first 2 seconds after joining the channel.	[reply]
