there are modules that you can use to achieve this i think, 1.swf2flv 2.flv2mp3 first u can convert your swf file to flv and then you have to convert that into mp3.	[reply]

Again, not a perl answer, but swftools runs on most platforms, and swfextract has a flag specifically for extracting the mp3 stream from an swf file. The intelligent reader will judge for himself. Without examining the facts fully and fairly, there is no way of knowing whether vox populi is really vox dei, or merely vox asinorum. — Cyrus H. Gordon	[reply]

Have you searched CPAN with such obvious terms as "swf" and/or "mp3" (and/or the far wider flung net of "convert")?	[reply]

Use lame. Use the command line for this. The command line is your friend. The command line loves us. Using perl to do this would be using a wrapper for something else. What we would be wrapping is likely already outfitted to do your bidding. You can still call it from perl, drop it on a cron, etc.	[reply]
