CamelBox gives you some checkbox options to install Perl/Tk, as well as many other useful modules, like DBM, Tk, and networking modules. I test Perl/Tk on my Vista Basic running
CamelBox.

Hm... I played around with camelbox, and I guess I'm just baffled. I went through the checkboxes over and over again and never found any option to install Perl/Tk. Are we talking about different versions of camelbox or something? The one I found was camelbox_2008.304.0742Z-odin.exe. I also tried using camelbox's CPAN.pm to install modules, but it didn't work.

OMG, I feel like an Camel's A*s.... you are right. I very seldom test anything on Win32, and I got ActiveState's Tk install confused with CamelBox's perl installation. I thought I was using CamelBox Perl, but was actually testing Tk under ActiveState. Once again, a thousand pardons for making you waste time on this.
