    Not quite what you were bringing up, but I wanted to mention that I like the fact that vroom put the Offering Plate there. I can now take it out of my personal nodelet and I think it's an unobtrusive way of reminding people that Perlmonks costs money to run.

    Since I just started a new job and am searching for an apartment, my money is kind of tight, but I intend to periodically hit the Offering Plate once I get settled. Perlmonks has done a hell of a lot for me and I want to repay the favor :)
