I've been trying to stay away from I18N because the module docs said that it only worked on *nix systems. I need a solution that will work on both MS-Win and *nix. Do you know of a parallel module that works with MS-Win systems?

Ok, start thinking again :P I don't see where it says that at all, observe grep nix / grep win, grep nix / grep win I18N::LangTags::Detect...It will also use the Win32::Locale module, if it's installed. so I18N::LangTags::Detect is your module.	[reply]
