in reply to Inability to UnDo a Vote (prior to executing the actual "vote!"

The way that I undo a vote is to navigate to another page, such as Recently Active Threads, then navigate again to the node I wanted to vote on. This clears out the unwanted vote for me. Just hitting the "back" button on my browser does not clear it out.

Update: a Super Search revealed this relevant node: Any way to rethink a vote before submitting?

Or just click "#743668=monkdiscuss" at the top of the page. Saves doing two loads and works even if the node isn't on RAT.

Wow! This is *way* cool! Efficient too...for a "brute force" approach.

Sometimes, the situation calls for "brute force", though.

      Thanks.

Sort of "brute force"; but it works.

Your suggestion served me well on this very page.

I accidentally (again!) accidentally selected the wrong node to vote on. So I just used the "Back" button on my browser and then returned to this page and, voila, all was right with the world...except that I had to re-vote for those that I *did* intend to vote on. ;-)

Thanks so much for the reply...it is a good "hip pocket" solution when I just need to "kill the fly with the sledgehammer" (something I am fully prepared to do when all I have is a sledghammer and the fly is annoying me ;-) ).
