Parse::Dia::SQL version 0.02 has been released, and will reach
a CPAN mirror close to you soon.
Dia is a diagram creation program for Linux, Unix and Windows released under the GPL.
Parse::Dia::SQL converts Dia class diagrams into SQL.
Parse::Dia::SQL is based on tedia2sql by Tim Ellis and others, and
adds the following:
- Platform independence
- Make it run on any platform perl runs on.
- QA
- A test suite.
- A logging framework.
- Modularisation
- Separate parsing from sql generation.
- Extensibility
- Make it easy to customize sql generation for a given rdbms.
- Make it easy to add support for new rdbms.

Support for DB2 is fairly complete, while support for other
databases is experimental. Comments, patches and tests are welcome.
Feedback regarding the databases in experimental state is especially
welcome.
