ultraman has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
i got a application backup file (in xml format) which looks like these...
<?xml version="1.0"?> <config dateTime="2009/2/27 12:17:33" ssVersion="9333" ssPlatform="ssB +SD-7.0-intel"> <file name="info/settings.xml" compressed="gzip" mode="420">H4sIAAAA.. +..+QNx9+CIAAA==</file> <file name="info/path.cfg" compressed="gzip" mode="420">H4sIAAAAA...zn +/CrPy+CAAAA</file> ... ... ... </config>
now i'm killing much of my brains cells to figure out how to extracts the "settings.xml", "path.cfg" etc from the xml file to the appropriate "gzip" formats...
pls point me to any clues or references on this.many thanks in advance...
ps. i've got the XML part covered by using XML::Simple ( or am i? )
