Business::OnlinePayment for merchantconnect.com?

locked_user sundialsvc4 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I need to integrate with the “Virtual Merchant” service, which is provided by Elavon, Inc. ... apparently also known as merchantconnect.com.

I'd say it's pretty darned obvious that there must be a module for Business::OnlinePayment that will do exactly what I need, but since there are 50 of them to look through on CPAN, I thought that perhaps the simplest thing to do first was to ask the Esteemed Monks...

Uh huh... of course I “searched http://search.cpan.org first” ... `:-D` Sure, “it's a SOAP call.” But laziness, you know... If it's already been done, by anyone anywhere, then I don't want to do it again.

Update: Business::OnlinePayment::ElavonVirtualMerchant was written by Richard Siddall and uploaded to CPAN in October '09.	[reply]

There doesn't seem to be a bop module for merchantconnect.com ... the maintainer of bop (ivan) comes to the monastery from time to time but he also maintains a site and mailing list. You might get a quicker response there. -derby	[reply]
