I visited Saints in our Book and found lot of users(monks) have compiled and given lot of links to useful nodes in their home page, I was benefited(enrich knowledge) because of that, I wanted to say ++ for monk's home nodes. Does any one else think so?. Can this provision be added to perlmonks?.

I will accept candy instead of a ++. Thank you.

Don't think about voting on a monk's home node; rather, read assiduously throughout The Monastery, and vote according to the utility and humour of each node, regardless of its author.

And what happens if someone drasticlly alters their homenode? There is no way to associate the current contents with the current reputation. Granted, that's true for regular posts as well, but people usually flag changes with "Update:" type text or reply to the original node. Also, would we allow people to vote once a year? Otherwise, maybe I downvoted someone 7 years ago but now wish to upvote their homenode now or vice versa.

The only reason I can think of to allow this is so we can upvote paco's page. LOL!! Maybe that's reason enough! :-)

Update: Would there be any benefit for showing the hit count for homenodes? Wouldn't this be the equivalent (i.e. useful homenodes in theory are visited more often)?
