I like the idea, but it would take some strict rules to make it work. I think the standard for entry should be very high. Something like it needs to be nominated by a high level monk, has to have existed for more than 6 months and then needs to be voted on for entry by 10 high level monks - maybe even just saints. With that sort of standard, we can be sure it's good stuff.

Best Nodes is really going to suffer as we go on in terms of the number of voters and votes being cast. Nodes like the ones you mention will be crowded out not because they're no longer deserving, but because when they first hit and were voted on a ++ from _every_ monk couldn't have made the rep as high as a ++ from 50% of the current community.
