What makes you think that LWP::UserAgent supports Javascript when WWW::Mechanize does not support Javascript? WWW::Mechanize is based on LWP::UserAgent, so it can do more than LWP::UserAgent. Neither module will support Javascript.

There's a new subclass WWW::Scripter (WWW::Scripter::Plugin::JavaScript..) to replace deprecated WWW::Mechanize::Plugin::JavaScript.., looks exciting.	[reply]
