It's the deCSS code in perl (to defeat DVD encryption scheme)
this code previously posted here was removed from the monastery to prevent legal threat,
and this article is a clever/funny way to spread the code...
Anyway you should avoid to post this code here in the monastery.
(By the way you should also avoid to execute code when you don't know what it does... ;-)
Incidentally, Wired mag hired me last month to
write up a sidebar explaining how this program worked.
Predictably, they removed most of the technical content and
the result was an article which is intended to give the readers
a warm sense of understanding without imparting any
actual information. When the issue hits the newsstand,
I'll post the URL for my original version.
