Not to be rude, but there are a ton of nodes right here on PM that could help you out. Just type in `ms sql` in the 'search' box that's at the top of every single page. For future reference: the more information you provide with your question the better. Do you need to just SELECT data? Do you need read/write access? Are you connecting from a Unix, Win32, or other type of machine? What have you tried so far? What resources have you checked out? Well, here are some more links/information that will help: Michael Peppler's homepage: the guy not only wrote several Sybase modules for Perl (and I thank him a lot for that!), but also has a webpage full of information on how to get everything up and running. FreeTDS: you will need either this, or the Sybase libraries, if you're running Perl on *nix. I have set up a Linux box with FreeTDS and Peppler's DBD::Sybase to talk to SQL Server 2000 on NT. Speed is not great, but it's serviceable.	[reply]

I think the original poster meant MS SQL, which stands for Microsoft SQL Server, not the open source MySQL...	[reply]
