in thread Is there a way to get a list of the most recently-updated tutorials here?

Still not very user-friendly, though.

Intentionally so. Since searching is very expensive, the devs want to not create a means of launching a search from a link.

They don't want to create a means of launching a search from a link? But that's exactly what ordinary bracket links like pess or morn do if they don't match a title exactly.

Agreed, but publication of a new tutorial is a very "rare event". A lazy mechanism that updates a list of recent tuts whenever a new tutorial is published could solve both problems - the OPs request (user-friendly embedded in Tutorials) and keeping the DB load small.

New Tutorials appear in RAT and NN as soon as they are posted. They also appear on the Tutorials page under "New Tutorials" (imagine that!), at least until some pedagogue assigns them to a particular section.
