I had the pleasure of reading one of the drafts.

I have to say that it was scary how much I learned reading that.

As a random sample, bonus marks to the first person (other than merlyn and the like) who can say what ARGVOUT is used for in Perl. (Yes, it is documented.)

    The filehandle ARGVOUT is selected for the in-place data to be printed back to the file which is being edited in-place. See perlrun.
