hushhush has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi All

Is there any particular cpan module that's become sort of the standard one to use, for preventing xss / cleaning user input of xss?

I see there are a number now, and am just trying to save time by using the unofficial standard one if it exists.

thanks!

I don't think there is a widely accepted standard. See Re: Form Security for a couple of recommendations.
