foreach my $file ( grep{/\.seq$/ && -f $dir/$_}readdir DIR)

is giving me the error that the argument <filename> isn't numeric in division (/).
Why is it saying this?

Try adding quotes as follows: `foreach my $file ( grep{/\.seq$/ && -f "$dir/$_"}readdir DIR)` [download]	[reply] [d/l]

Yes, toolic is right, without the quotes, this looks like a division. my goof. Typo's happen.	[reply]
