Hi saranperl, You really need to do a bit more study before you start applying for jobs using Perl. There is just too much you don't know yet (on the evidence of your questions).

I don't say this to be discouraging given time and application you will be able to code in Perl to a professional standard. Go through the Tutorials on this site and take a look at the Meditations, these will help you progress.

BTW: This never stops, you need to have a desire to keep learning to be a successful coder in any language.
