ajay.awachar has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi All,

I want to change font style of perl output text. I need to change font style to bold for headings. I tried using Curses and Term::ANSIColor modules. But as these modules are not currently installed on production boxes, I am looking for whether there is any other way by which I can still change the font style of the text.

OUTPUT
Node Time(Should be in bold font): time in normal font. Issues Identified (bold font) : issue text in normal font
Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ajay

The solution to a module not being installed is to install it.

What platform are you on? Does it need to be portable? You might be able to use escape sequences to do what you need. Just a thought.
