    That's too bad. I have no problem with that feature, not sure why you would object to it. It is a reasonable default for users who don't, for some reason, create an account.

    If you really don't like it I'm sure GreaseMonkey, Stylish, or even editing your userContent.css file (or similar solutions for non-Mozilla browsers) would provide an answer.
      Its unsightly, adds content to your carefully formatted post, it doesn't show up in preview, and is a complete surprise. I'm probably not alone in disliking it. It is distracting. It could be made better really easy.
        If you are not alone in disliking it, some of those people will be registered users and could do more about it than an Anonymous Monk, right? Then it will likely be fixed if it is hated as much as you believe, otherwise you'll just have to live with it or do something to hide its presence from your eyes.
