tallulah has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

hello
in the documentation of perl such as this page:
http://perldoc.perl.org/perlreftut.html
there is a title bar NAG in the middle of the screen, it is floating and stick in its place ,look at this picture: i refer to it by a red arrow:
http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/2135/perltitlebar.jpg
indeed it causes some pain in my heart, there is no such nag in the previous documentation.
since i do not know to whom i may talk, i hope from the documentation administrator and designer to re think of this annoyance, and if someone from the good people of this community find it annoying to support me.
at least the designer of this nag can put x on it so we can close it
thanks

"since i do not know to whom i may talk,"

There is a 'Contact' section on the left hand side of the page which has the details you require, the FAQs explain how to report problems with the site:

You can customize the appearance of the bar by using the "Preferences" link (on the right, in the "Tools" section). Set it to "fixed", and it will scroll away with the rest of the page.

That's not a NAG, but is it the toolbar. That can be set so it won't "nag you". On the right side of the page you'll see a "Tools" bar with "Preferences" in it. Click on Preferences. Then you'll be presented with two choices---"Fixed", which I think you call NAG, and "Standard". That'll get rid of the nag for you. Then, save settings.

Another alternative is How to make perldoc.perl.org resizable too!. It gives you all the cool tools of the new documentation page but with more of the look and feel of the old documentation pages: light background, no NAG (fixed header), and the ability to make the page narrower or wider as you wish without cutting off documentation text.

      Before and After pics.

You can't tell from those particular images, but as mentioned, it also keeps the floating bar from covering up the text when you scroll down.
