Download CPAN Modules List

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

How I can download the CPAN module list?

Or is there any way to search the modules by some words in module? For example I like to get all the '::Engine' modules.

http://search.cpan.org? Engine? Or launch the CPAN shell and type `i /Engine/`? Or, perl cpan engine? Or, if you're aware of the website, say, `www.cpan.org`, restrict to that site?	[reply] [d/l] [select]

Thanks. That was helpful. I didn't find a good web interface though. `cpan> i /^Text::[^:]+$/`revealed that there are 576 modules of such nature. I guess CPAN is huge and very interesting.	[reply] [d/l]
