I have 10 years IT experience (Fortune 500 company), but mostly application support, server/app management, vendor management etc. Would like to finally learn Perl enough to be able to create my own solutions, for my own site and for the company I work for. I have a number of certificates, none programming related (I took just one semester of advanced VB programming, passed the exam) - I was certified for Windows servers, WebSphere, Business Objects (Universe Design, administration) etc. Whatever was needed for business at the time. I have also learned HTML very well (and some javas‎crip‎t), and have created my own websites.
