Yes in fact http://kobesearch.cpan.org/ is uptodate. So I think it is just that one site.

Hiding the actual link behind text, as you suggest, obscures the information SilasTheMonk is trying to convey i.e. a link to a different CPAN search site - which wouldn't be as helpful as it otherwise is. A user level that continues to overstate my experience :-))	[reply]
