Yeah, that kind of thing can cause confusion! I'm editing my sig right now to put a <br> in between my node and the signature.

Don't do that. Instead enter your signature text in the signature box in your Signature Settings. True laziness is hard work	[reply]

Oh, I do that. I just like the extra space, especially since I often end a node with code, and my sig starts with code. Helps to make it visually separated. `@_=qw; Just another Perl hacker,; ;$_=q=print "@_"= and eval;` [download]	[reply] [d/l]

Oh, and add an hr tag at the start of your sig. No need then for a br or other vertical space and the division between the node body and your sig is quite clear (I'd forgotten I use an explicit hr tag). True laziness is hard work	[reply]
