woosley has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi all, I am trying to learn how to write perlxs by following perlxstut
I did all thing menthioned in the section EXAMPLE 4 of perlxstut, but when I try "make test", test failed with the error
PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /usr/bin/perl "-MExtUtils::Command::MM" "-e" "test_h +arness(0, 'blib/lib', 'blib/arch')" t/*.t t/Mytest2.t .. 1/2 # Failed test 'use Mytest2;' # at t/Mytest2.t line 9. # Tried to use 'Mytest2'. # Error: Can't find 'boot_Mytest2' symbol in /home/woosley/Mytest +2/blib/arch/auto/Mytest2/Mytest2.so # at (eval 4) line 2 # Compilation failed in require at (eval 4) line 2. # BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at (eval 4) line 2. # Looks like you failed 1 test of 2. t/Mytest2.t .. Dubious, test returned 1 (wstat 256, 0x100)
it looks like "use Mytest2" failed to execute, what is the possible problem? I totally do not understant the Error line.
Thx
